LCCT website has posted a very informative page on AirAsia's customers. If you're interested to know more, please check out the website. But it does not state on Tax refund procedure there.
For customer who's purchase AirAsia ticket but did not board their flight, the airport tax will be refunded but not the fuel surcharge!
You can contact AirAsia support team at +603 8660 4388 (from 9am to 6pm daily) or by e-mailing to guestsupport@airasia.com.
PS: Personally, i've contacted them before on my unboarded flight. But till today (after 2 years), still hear nothing back from them.
